One of Seattle’s geekiest weekends is just around the corner!

Emerald City ComiCon is celebrating its 15th anniversary next weekend, March 2 through March 5. For those few days, the Washington State Convention Center and the better part of downtown Seattle will be overtaken by dashing heroes, handsome villains and more than a few famous geeks.

The con features a cosplay contest, board and video game demos, panels and talks galore, along with special guests like Marvel’s Stan Lee and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown. The convention’s showfloor is also a force to be reckoned with, featuring hundreds of exhibitors and geeky swag from around the world.

You might even run into a GeekWire reporter or two, scouting for the geekiest costumes and coolest local games.

Tickets are still available for Thursday and Friday, and check out all the exhibitors and events on the ECCC website.

That’s one of the highlights from our GeekWire community calendar, the spot for geek and tech events in the greater Pacific Northwest. See the full calendar here, submit your event here and keep reading for more suggested events over the next few weeks.
