App developers hoping to earn millions of dollars in venture capital investment are going to have to impress Gwyneth Paltrow first.

The actress and Goop founder is one of four celebrity advisers — along with actress Jessica Alba, musician will.i.am and entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk — who star on Apple’s new original series “Planet of the Apps.” The first trailer was unveiled Monday night by Apple executive Eddy Cue at Recode’s Code Media conference.

“Four of the world’s most culturally influential entrepreneurs,” as the new trailer bills them, hear pitches from developers who think they have what it takes to make it on the App Store. Rather than make a traditional elevator pitch, teams use a 60-second escalator ride to woo the high-powered “Shark Tank”-ish panel.

Snippets of pitches are shown in the first half of the trailer, including:

“We’re the eBay for the Snapchat generation!” … and … “We’re going to revolutionize social media!”

I can’t get to my iPhone fast enough. That’s some groundbreaking stuff. Which probably explains why one developer is shown choosing will.i.am as his adviser (a format that borrows from NBC’s “The Voice”) and the Black Eyed Peas rapper exclaims, “‘Cause I got gold shoes on!”

The developers then work with their advisers and big shots from companies such as Yelp, Uber and Musical.ly are brought in to drop jargon that goes beyond Paltrow’s Goop-y offerings.

In the end, a panel of venture capital pros promising $10 million shrug and say stuff like, “What’s your burn rate right now?” to nervous-looking developers.

The series will air on Apple Music, where the tech giant is making a push to produce more original TV content, such as “Carpool Karaoke,” which it also teased in the last couple days. Watch the trailer below.
