Data, data, data, data, data.

Career site Glassdoor is out with its annual list of “50 Best Jobs in America” for 2017 and many of the top gigs are related to managing data.

For the second-straight year, Data Scientist took the No. 1 spot with the highest “job score”; Glassdoor ranks its top jobs on earning potential based on median annual base salary, job satisfaction rating, and number of job openings on its site.

There are 4,184 openings on Glassdoor for a data scientist, who will make $110,000 for a median base salary.

Here’s how the top 10 rounded out:

2. DevOps Engineer

3. Data Engineer

4. Tax Manager

5. Analytics Manager

6. HR Manager

7. Database Administrator

8. Strategy Manager

9. UX Designer

10. Solutions Architect

There were 14 total tech-related jobs on the list, more than any other “specialty,” according to Glassdoor.

“This report reinforces that the best jobs are highly-skilled and are staying ahead of the growing trend toward workplace automation,” Dr. Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor Chief Economist, said in a statement. “Nearly half the list is comprised of jobs within the fast growing technology, healthcare, and finance industries. In particular for tech jobs, companies across all industries are hiring workers for these needed positions, including employers in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail and more. Any organization today with a mobile app, web presence or digitized data are struggling to fill jobs like data scientists, software engineers and mobile developers.”

The report also reinforces what Glassdoor co-founder Rich Barton said last year. Barton, who also helped launch Expedia and Zillow, advised a group of Seattle University business students to study something related to data or analytics while they’re in school.

“The rockstars, the hardest people for me to hire at my companies right now, are data scientists and data analysts,” said Barton, also an investor in companies like Avvo, Netflix, and RealSelf.

These roles are becoming vital as almost all emerging industries in the technology world are crunching and analyzing more and more data every day. Barton added that computer science combined with artificial intelligence is a “really hot area right now,” too.

Barton isn’t alone with touting the value of data. Leaders like Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella echo the same sentiment, with Nadella calling data the “new electricity” in a speech last year that focused on how it is transforming the way we live and work.

Barton founded Glassdoor in 2007 with his former Expedia colleague Robert Hohman. The San Francisco-based company has a database of more than 640,000 companies with reviews and ratings across 190 countries. There are 32 million unique visitors to the site each month. The company raised a $40 million investment round in June, pushing total funding to date to $200 million and valuing the company around $1 billion.
