It’s easy to take for granted the amazing perks you get if you’re willing to endure the dark, wet Seattle winter.
Sometimes, it takes the wide-eyed reaction of a newcomer to remind us that this is a pretty cool place to call home. That’s what BuzzFeed’s “Worth It” guys discovered on their quest to find the best-value Salmon in Seattle.
They tried Emerald City Fish and Chips’ $8 fried salmon, a $25 wild king salmon with truffle drizzle from Ivar’s, and a whopping $56 grilled salmon from Aqua by El Gaucho.
It’s hard to stomach the idea of paying nearly $60 for a piece of fish but the Aqua chef’s adorably nerdy quip, “chanterelles and salmon are best friends forever” kind of makes it worth it.
