President Obama has no doubt heard it all during his nearly eight years in office, and in the interest of self preservation, should probably stay off social media. But for the sake of comedy, in the waning days of his presidency, reading a few “Mean Tweets” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is a fine way to get the last laugh.
“Obama is the Nickelback of presidents” and “Obama couldn’t negotiate getting a Whopper without pickles” are a couple of the offerings the president reads back off of a smartphone.
But one particular mean tweeter rings a familiar bell for anyone who has paid attention to Twitter bullying. Presidential hopeful @realDonaldTrump took a shot somewhere along the way at Obama, saying he would go down as the worst president in the history of the United States.
Obama looks into the camera and replies, “Well, @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a president.” He then does a “mic drop” of the phone he’s holding.
