Amazon isn’t the only Seattle tech company recruiting big names for its Super Bowl ads. T-Mobile previewed a commercial for the big game this morning, featuring Drake and his hit song “Hotline Bling.”

The ad pokes fun at other wireless carriers for “ruining everything” with fine print and data charges, implicitly promoting the Bellevue, Wash.-based wireless carrier’s unlimited “Music Freedom” unlimited streaming program in the process. It’s the latest campaign by the fast-growing “Un-carrier” and its outspoken CEO John Legere to poke fun at its larger rivals Verizon and AT&T.

T-Mobile’s separate “Binge On” service, which similarly offers video streaming without counting against data limits, is coming under increased criticism, with a Stanford Law professor recently becoming the latest to say the initiative violates Net Neutrality.
