The 2016 GeekWire Summit officially kicked off on Monday evening, the start of the Pacific Northwest’s premier technology conference — and our biggest event yet.

Online real estate company Zillow Group hosted the Welcome Party at their downtown Seattle HQ. Summit attendees, speakers, and other VIPs enjoyed tasty food, cold drinks, and great networking with amazing views of the Seattle waterfront. It was a warm-up party to the next two days, where innovators, entrepreneurs, business executives and tech leaders will come together to explore the future of the innovation economy.

We have two full days of panel discussions and fireside chats lined up for the next two days. The action gets going on Thursday morning, with top tech journalists, Microsoft Executive VP Peggy Johnson, Expedia CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, and many other top thinkers and innovators set to speak on stage.

See more pictures below from the Welcome Party, and stay tuned for full coverage from the GeekWire Summit.
