Redfin today unveiled a new free “Redfin Data Center” tool that lets anyone download, visualize and share the latest data on home prices, sales and inventory, and more.

Redfin utilizes MLS data that its agents already have in order to improve the quality of information on the platform, which is powered by Tableau to help people create and share data visualizations. It also provides info related to homebuyer demand — a percentage change in the number of Redfin customers asking for tours and making offers — and said it is the only real estate company making this type of data available.

At launch, there are 159 metropolitan areas represented in the Redfin Data Center, with more to come on a monthly basis.
