Seattle startup Porch today said it has teamed up with Portland-based lighting and home goods retailer Rejuvenation to give customers an option to hire Porch-vetted professionals to assemble and install their latest purchases.

Rejuvenation is the fourth retailer to cut a deal Porch, which connects customers with home improvement professionals, to handle installation and assembly work. Lowe’s Home Improvement, one of Porch’s investors, refers customers to professionals for installation and assembly jobs via Porch. Online retailers Wayfair and ATGStores.com have similar agreements with Porch.

Rejuvenation customers in 28 markets, including the Seattle area, will be able to add Porch home services to their cart online, request those services in-store or through customer care centers. Customers will get quotes from several different Porch-approved professionals to choose from.

By integrating product sales with installation and assembly service setup, retailers are hoping to reduce customer anxiety about ordering larger items online that may require extensive assembly when delivered. Instead of finding a professional with a separate transaction, the integrated approach offers a more complete purchasing experience.

Amazon has a similar integrated experience, offering its Home Services at checkout with larger items that require installation (like TVs or appliances) or assembly (like furniture).
