Remember the Ice Bucket Challenge? Turns out it’s been a very helpful thing for the past two years, and Thursday the folks at Glowforge dumped buckets of cold water over their heads to further the cause.

Dan Shapiro, CEO of the Seattle-based startup which makes 3D laser printers, says in a new video that a Glowforge customer is suffering from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and she asked the company to help raise awareness and money to fight the disease. The woman is referred to as Auntimame by Shapiro — a reference to her Glowforge Community Forum name.

Glowforge is donating $2,200 to ALS — that’s $1,000 plus $100 from each of the 12 employees in the video. The company is also pledging to add $10 for anyone who makes their own video and tags @glowforge.

The Glowforge gang — all clad in company T-shirts, with some barefoot and in shorts — took the challenge in front of their new office location in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood. The building, which also houses Porch, served as the location of an incident in March, when Shapiro and most of the company became stuck in an elevator while touring the site as a possible new home.

“I bet you wish you’d had those buckets on the elevator, huh,” a Porch employee said to the group on Thursday, as relayed by Glowforge marketing manager Bailey Nelson.

Update: Donation figures have been corrected from a previous version of story.
