Amperity, the stealth-mode enterprise software company from startup vets Kabir Shahani and Derek Slager, is now seeking a Site Reliability Engineer following a $9 million funding round earlier this year. Shahani and Slager are among the co-founders of Appature, a cloud-base healthcare marketing software startup, which is rumored to have sold for $100 million in 2013.
Behind Amperity’s mysterious homepage, the company says it is addressing “one of the largest unmet needs in the marketing technology space and building a powerhouse team to do so.” The Site Reliability Engineer will help tackle problems within the Amperity system including utilizing large amounts of data, connecting data across disparate systems, and allowing users to perform complex, real-time inquiries.
Candidates should be excited about using Accumulo, Spark, Kafka and Mesos and have significant experience within a major cloud infrastructure provider. The Site Reliability Engineer will join a team Amperity says is “building a one-of-a-kind data-first application for marketing.” More information about this opportunity is available here.
