immerse-logoSeattle’s virtual and augmented Reality community has boomed over the past few years, with a crop of promising VR and AR startups and a vital and dedicated VR community.

Some of that technology and talent will be on display next week at the IMMERSE Technology Summit, an event showcasing immersive technology from around the Pacific Northwest in every field from film to medicine. GW calendar logo

The event will also feature a session where five startups will give their pitches to venture capital firms, including Seattle’s Madrona Venture Group and Vulcan Capital. The IMMERSE summit will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm in the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Wash. More information and tickets are available here.
