If your dog or cat demands the best treat or toy and it has to be there right away, Amazon Prime Now has you covered.

Amazon announced Thursday that it would begin offering one-hour delivery of pet supplies in the Seattle area from All The Best Pet Care, a longtime chain with 12 locations in the region. In doing so, the retail giant is broadening its rapid delivery from third-party retailers beyond restaurants and grocery stores for the first time.

“All The Best Pet Care was Seattle’s first ‘health food store for pets’ in 1985 and we’ve been at the forefront of innovation for dogs and cats ever since,” company founder Susan Moss said in a news release. “Every food, treat and toy is carefully vetted to make sure it meets our exacting standards. We are locally owned and family run, and honored to partner with Prime Now for free 2-hour delivery in our community.”

Along with Amazon items and restaurant and grocery delivery, Amazon customers have previously had access to pet supplies via Prime Now. But in Seattle, All The Best Pet Care gets top billing on the Prime website’s “shop local stores” banner alongside other Seattle-area businesses such as PCC and Uwajimaya.

“All The Best Pet Care is the first retailer outside of restaurants and select grocery stores to launch with Prime Now,” Amazon spokesperson Amanda Ip confirmed to GeekWire. “We’re excited to add one of Seattle’s favorite local pet supplies stores to Prime Now and we know customers will love the convenience of superfast delivery from All The Best Pet Care.”

Prime Now’s 1-hour delivery is $7.99 and 2-hour delivery is free for Amazon Prime members.
