Those free Amazon bananas are fine for filling a whole in your belly, but on Friday, in honor of National Ice Cream Day, they helped satisfy a sweet-tooth craving for thousands in Seattle who scored free banana splits.

National Ice Cream Day is actually Sunday (sundae?) for those who don’t already subscribe to the fact that it should be every day.

In photos shared by Amazon, people can be seen lining up and making sundaes near the Amazon Community Banana Stand, a fixture of the company’s campus in the South Lake Union neighborhood.

It looks like there was plenty of chocolate syrup and the sunny weather no doubt brought out crowds in search of a post-lunch treat.

The banana stand opened in December. Amazon said in a statement at the time, “Bananas are a great healthy snack with built-in compostable packaging. We hope the community likes it, and if they do, we’ll keep doing it.”

Meanwhile, Uber didn’t miss being part of a great scoop. The company continued its tradition of bringing ice cream to over 400 cities.

“This year, we are thrilled to partner with ice cream brands to deliver delicious ice cream bars across the globe,” Uber said in a blog post. “From Abu Dhabi to Zurich, each city is adding their local flavor by making ice cream deliveries by land, sea and sky.”
