Alibaba’s film arm on Monday announced a new deal with Paramount Pictures, with the Chinese tech giant helping fund two new Hollywood movies: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and Star Trek.

Alibaba Pictures originally teamed up with Paramount last year with its investment in Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, which garnered positive reviews and reeled in nearly $700 million at the box office this past summer.

The two films are set for a North American release this summer and in China next year. Alibaba Pictures subsidiaries Taobao Movie and Yulebao will provide service and support for the new movies.

“We are very glad to be working with Alibaba Pictures again,” Rob Moore, Vice Chairman of Paramount, said in a statement. “Our most recent collaboration showed us this new internet-powered movie and television company has in areas such as promotion, distribution and movie-related merchandise. We look forward to even more successful launches of these films in the global movie market.”

Alibaba launched Alibaba Pictures in August 2014 and has since invested in and produced several movies and TV shows. The company also today announced a deal with Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore to make a new movie for the global market.

Alibaba’s investments in TV and movie content mirrors that of Amazon, its U.S. e-commerce equivalent. Amazon on Sunday announced new a monthly subscription option for its Prime video streaming service.
