Things are rolling at 4C Insights, which just raised a $26 million investment round and added an experienced entrepreneur to its C-suite.

Fresh off its Series C round, led by Kayne Partners with participation from all previous investors, the Chicago-based ad-targeting company also recently brought on Anupam Gupta as its new chief product officer.

Gupta is a longtime Seattleite, working at Microsoft for nearly a decade before helping found Mixpo, a startup that developed technology to deliver online video ads across multiple screens. He left Mixpo in 2013 and became an executive at Los Angeles-based Vubiquity before taking the role at 4C Insights this past July.

Gupta will be based at 4C Insights’ Seattle engineering office, where the company has 12 employees and plans to add another four people over the next few months.

4C Insights employs 160 people across six offices worldwide. The company, which helps clients measure and monitor their advertising across a bevy of platforms, has raised $37.8 million to date.
