backwardAfter announcing both backward compatibility for Xbox 360 games the Xbox One and the ability to stream Xbox One games to Windows 10 machines, Microsoft has told Engadget that users will be able to combine the two to play Xbox 360 games on Windows 10.

Microsoft surprised everyone with the announcement at this week’s E3 press event that they would introduce backward compatibility for Xbox 360 games. While they announced streaming from the Xbox One in January, it wasn’t clear until now if those 360 games would be able to stream to your Windows 10 device.

It looks like streaming for the Xbox One is just mirroring the content to your Windows 10 device. You’ll be able to access the home screen, apps and games through the Windows 10 Xbox app, so it’s really no surprise that 360 games will be streamed as well.
