Fans of zombie video games will want to put Jan. 27 down on your calendars. It’s the release date of this terrifying game Dying Light.
An “action survival game presented in first-person perspective,” it is probably the most realistic take we’ve seen on being chased by zombies yet.
“The game is set in a vast and dangerous open world,” reads the game description. “During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, the hunter becomes the prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression – but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their nests to feed.”
Dying Light will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PCs, including those with Oculus Rift DK2 headsets. And to promote its arrival, game developers Techland have released this trailer, featuring some sweet parkour moves to escape the zombies. It will probably be the coolest thing you’ll see all day:
