It seems all the world’s fascinated with SpaceX’s attempts to get a rocket to launch and land. So much, in fact, that it’s inspired this video of Elon Musk and SpaceX engineers working out the kinks on their “launch and land and relaunch” plans.
Made by Lynnwood-based creative production studio Cinesaurus, this parody of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” called “SpaceX Launch You Up” is pretty catchy. You can watch them dance their way through many a rocket-launch scene, while “Elon Musk,” makes some nice appearances throughout. My favorite line? “Elon’s the actual Iron Man.”
SpaceX’s second attempt to successfully land Falcon 9 took off yesterday. And while they did get the rocket back on the barge, Musk tweeted that it was “too hard for survival.” You can see the awesome Vine of the landing SpaceX posted here:

Relax, Elon. We’re pretty sure you’ll get that volcano lair soon enough. Third time’s a charm.
