Hankering for a free drink? When you download Hotspot, an app that lets you know the best drink prices in town, you’ll get a free drink — if you register by July 27.
UPDATE: The Hotspot team is extending a special code for GeekWire readers. Just use the code “geekwire” when you register to score your free drink. There is no cut-off to sign up with the “geekwire” promo code either.
Hotspot works by partnering with local bars, and features updated cocktail menus and happy hour listings. It also offers deals that can save you up to half off your drinks when you pay through the app. You can also earn free drinks when you text friends to meet you.
To date, Hotspot says it has signed up about 40 bars in Seattle, including re:public, Moe Bar and Liberty.
