In another sign o’ the times, President Barack Obama finally has his own Twitter account.

Launched this a.m., the Twitter-verse quickly took to @POTUS, with many people delighted that they, albeit quite briefly, had more followers than the most powerful man in the world, according to Wired. It was short-lived, though, as BBC Tech reports that Obama built up a following of more than 100,000 in a mere 24 minutes.
Obama now has, as of this writing, 430,000 followers.
