Ah, Tinder. Is there any app out there is that so universally reviled and used at the same time?

But they have us hooked. And so, the company has been testing its paid premium version, Tinder Plus, in the UK, Brazil and Germany, where only 40 percent of users were given access to it, but is “nearing launch here in the U.S.,” according to this report from TechCrunch.

The premium version offers some additional functions, including “undo,” which allows users to go back to the person they just swiped left on, and “passport,” which lets you search outside your geographic region.

“The most-requested feature we get is a button to go back and have a second chance with people that users swipe left on,” Tinder co-founder Sean Rad told TechCrunch last November when the testing programs were announced. “Everyone has wanted it from the beginning. It’s absolutely at the top of the list.”

The premium version will launch reportedly in March for iOS and Android users. Tinder is still testing pricing for the the premium version, but reports have it somewhere between $2.99 and $6.99 per month, and additional features to the U.S. version beyond “undo” and “passport” may emerge.
