After a 25-year hiatus, Nintendo announced that it is bringing back its World Championships to E3 in June.

Not held since 1990, fans who want a chance to compete at the tournaments at E3 can head to Best Buy locations on May 30 to try and qualify. Winners from each regional event will then square off at the Nokia Theatre for a live gaming competition on June 14 during E3 in Los Angeles.

One player will be “crowned the 2015 Nintendo World Champion” at the event, which will also be streamed online.

Other Nintendo news at E3 will include its digital event on June 16, with updates on games and experiences to come, with the Nintendo Treehouse streaming news throughout E3 online. Nintendo will also debut its new game, Mario Maker, on Wii U consoles at participating Best Buys nationwide on June 17 and 20.
