You may know GeekWire for our in-depth stories or community-based tech events. But GeekWire also offers another important service to startups and medium-sized tech companies in Washington state: Employee health insurance and wellness programs.

ALLtech Side Ad Small 2Through a partnership with ALLtech, we’ve created a unique program that allows tech companies in the state to receive exclusive pricing, preferred rates and a broad range of benefits.

The goal? In an increasingly competitive market for tech talent, help startups compete with attractive health insurance plans that rival the big players.

Today, we’re announcing availability of 2016 ALLtech employee benefit insurance coverage to GeekWire Members. Fourteen-month rates are now available, and if you’re looking for health insurance for your company, make sure to contact ALLtech here for more information.

ALLtech insurance is available only to GeekWire Members, and the plans are specifically designed for technology companies in Washington state, ranging in size from five to 200 employees.

“We know these companies are competing for talent against some of the largest tech companies in the world and have put together a variety of plans that are specifically designed for their needs,” said ALLtech trustee Ken Myer. “We want to help them win the battle.”

New elements for 2016 include revised medical plans options, flexible medical plan offerings and enhanced disability plan designs. Plans cover medical, dental, vision, life, disability and EAP coverage.

Groups can select up to three plans, including rich plans with $0 & $250 deductibles to more modest plans (HSA $2,500 and $5,000)

ALLtech provides the most consistent new and renewing rates of any technology-related employee benefits program in Washington state, and we’re excited to partner with them on this unique offering.
