Wow, this the movie we’ve been waiting for — Han Solo, the early years.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new film will be directed by power duo Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, the guys behind The Lego Movie and Jump Street films.
“The story focuses on how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley,” according to starwars.com. It’s slated to hit theaters May 25, 2018.
So many questions, but perhaps the biggest is this: Who will play the iconic role made so stellar by badass Harrison Ford? It will truly be one of the most coveted jobs in Hollywood. We can’t wait to see who they cast.
