The GeekWire Summit, our biggest tech event of the year, is just one month away. Do you have your tickets yet?

If not, now is the time to act.

Today marks the last chance to purchase tickets at early-bird rates, so make sure to grab yours today and join hundreds of other tech leaders at the premier tech conference in the Pacific Northwest.

summit sponsor postNow in its fourth year, the GeekWire Summit brings together entrepreneurs, investors, engineers and tech executives to discuss what’s on the horizon in the innovation landscape. Those who’ve attended past Summits have described them as informative, empowering and entertaining.

We look at the Summit as a way to bring the daily journalism that we do each day at GeekWire to the stage. You never know what to expect.

This year’s Summit — presented by Bank of America and taking place Oct. 1-2 at the Seattle Sheraton — will be our biggest yet with top execs from companies at Microsoft, Concur, Zillow, Nike and more. The always-entertaining venture capitalist Dave McClure will join us on stage for a fireside chat on Thursday afternoon, and we’ll also have an astronaut, an award-winning sci-fi writer and one of the world’s pre-eminent cancer researchers joining us Friday.

The first day of the Summit will include fireside chats with Xbox chief Phil Spencer, Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff, Glassdoor CEO Robert Hohman, New York Times science writer John Markoff, among many others. On Oct. 2, DocuSign founder Tom Gonser, Nike COO Eric Sprunk and Concur executives Steve Singh and Elena Donio will take the stage.

A welcome party will take place on the evening of Sept. 30 at the Pioneer Square headquarters of Chef, open to all Summit attendees. And we’re taking over Sullivan’s steakhouse and their adjoining patio for an epic opening night party on the evening of Oct. 1.

Beyond the great conversations and networking, the first 500 people who register will receive an awesome Collins laptop sleeve, courtesy of our partners at Brenthaven. (Yet another reason to purchase those tickets today!).

We also have a few special surprises in store, which will certainly entertain the crowd.

We’re extremely excited to host this year’s Summit, and we know, as in years past, there will be plenty of news generated and connections made.

We hope you can join us. And don’t forget: Early-bird tickets expire today at 11:59 p.m., so get yours now before prices go up.
