We’re still over a week out from the most infamous shopping day of the season, but if you prefer to give gift cards instead of presents, you might want to take a look at this.

CardHub released projections for the 2015 holidays when it comes to the most popular gift cards — and both Amazon and Starbucks rank high. Amazon is projected to be the No. 2 gift card given this season.

Apparently, those holiday cups won’t dissuade too many people from giving Starbucks — the coffee giant is No. 7.

“Gift cards are the most sought-after type of present for the ninth straight holiday season, according to the National Retail Federation, with nearly 59 percent of consumers hoping to receive one this year,” states the CardHub post on the giving trend for 2015.

Tech seems to rule the gift card list: iTunes, Netflix, eBay and Google all made the cut alongside major retailers like Walmart and Target.

This year, as CardHub reports, the average holiday shopper will spend about $805, with $173 going to gift cards alone.
