This casting would definitely make Star Trek 3 more intriguing if it happens. Idris Elba (The Wire, Avengers: Age of Ultron) may play the villain.
According to Variety, the actor is in “early talks” to take the key role in the next film. Star Trek 3 will be directed by Justin Lin, with cast members Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana set to return. J.J. Abrams is also signed on to produce.
Details are scarce at this point, but Variety writes that “early rumors suggest that Klingons would be the main villains in this movie, as they have not had a full presence in previous installments.”
A Stringer Bell Klingon, that we would like to see.
