It seems everyone is celebrating that date in Back to the Future II where Doc Brown, Marty McFly and his girlfriend Jennifer head to the future: Oct. 21, 2015.

And while we don’t have flying cars, hoverboards that work everywhere, or even time travel yet, here’s a breakdown of some fun stuff that’s happening today — and what we’re close to getting:

First off, Nike posted this awesome tweet:

Mashable confirmed with Nike that the “first pair of self-lacing Nike Mag shoes is in New York City.” No one’s posted pics yet, but we’re looking forward to that one.

Next up? If you live in New York City, you might have already snagged a ride in one of these sweet DeLoreans hitting the streets today, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, thanks to Lyft and Verizon.

Google also got in on the fun today, posting plans for for a time-traveling car. Called “Project Flux,” it’s pretty cute, if not real (well, at least as far as we know), with the goal to complete “88 public test flights by mid-2016.”

Check out what else the movie got right — and wrong –as Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd discuss what happened — and didn’t — in the Toyota commercial below.

What technology from Back to the Future II are you most looking forward to still happening?
