Google announced a new feature yesterday called Your Timeline, which essentially maps out your path.

While the company touts it as a way to “easily remember all the places you’ve been,” whether it was that museum on your vacation or “that fun bar you stumbled upon a few months ago,” in reality, for most people, it would probably just be the same sad commute day in and day out.

How does it work? You enable your Location History on your computer or device, and you’re off and running. Google Maps will then track your routes which you can access anytime after. If you use Google Photos, the corresponding pictures you took on those dates will also pop up to help jog your memory, too.

Google says that your Timeline is private and only visible to you, so one less thing to worry about if you’re one of those Ashley Madison users. You can also delete info at any time or disable your Location History to stop mapping your routes.

It’s available on desktop and Android.
