OfferUp, a startup that provides an alternative marketplace to Craigslist, continues to expand, sparking fundraising rumors and speculation that it will soon join the elite club of “unicorns” in the Seattle region, companies valued at more than $1 billion.
As it expands, the Bellevue, Wash.-based company is seeking new talent, including a Sr. Software Development Engineer. The right candidate will have at least five years of professional software engineering experience and expert-level programming skills in Python or equivalent languages. Responsibilities include creating and optimizing portions of the OfferUp infrastructure and creating new service features.
