The GeekWire Summit — our flagship technology conference — is coming back in a big way in 2015.

After hugely successful Summits over the past three years — featuring speakers such as T-Mobile CEO John Legere, Zillow co-founder Rich Barton, venture capitalist Bill Gurley and software pioneer Ray Ozzie — we’re expanding the Summit to two days this year.

BofA_enterprise_cmykYes, get ready for some exciting discussions about the future of software, gaming, cancer research and more. Heck, we’ve even added an astronaut to the lineup this year, part of our continued commitment to cover the exciting developments in the emerging commercial space industry.

Early-bird tickets are on sale now for the Summit, so get yours today at special summer rates.

The Summit will take place Oct. 1-2 at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle, and we’re excited today to offer a sneak peek at a few of our confirmed speakers for this one-of-kind event.

We’re pleased to announce that Xbox Chief Phil Spencer will join us for a fireside chat on Oct. 1, talking about the future of interactive entertainment and video games. Spencer and his team have set the stage for the revival of Microsoft’s Xbox business with the acquisition of Minecraft, the rollout of backward compatibility for Xbox One, and the upcoming launch of the HoloLens.

Other top speakers at this year’s Summit  include Glassdoor CEO Robert Hohman, astronaut Ed Lu, DocuSign co-founder Tom Gonser and Pulitzer Prize-winning tech journalist John Markoff, who’ll discuss some of the hottest tech stories at The New York Times as well as his forthcoming book on robots and artificial intelligence: Machines of Loving Grace.

We’ll also be bringing back our fun “Inventions We Love” showcase where select entrepreneurs participate in a geeky show-and-tell like no other. A few other surprises are in store for this year’s Summit, which will be attended by more than 700 tech leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and innovators.

We’ll be announcing more speakers in the weeks to come, so stay tuned for more on the 2015 GeekWire Summit.

A big thanks to Bank of America, our title sponsor for this year’s Summit.
