More than 225 people braved some blustery weather on Tuesday evening to join us for GeekWire Game Night, our annual fall meetup. It was a chance to catch up with old friends, make new connections and, most importantly, play some great board and card games.
A big thanks to all of you who joined us, and thanks as well to our sponsors for the evening, the Amazon Web Services Kumo Software Team, who raffled off Seahawks-49ers tickets to some lucky winners.
Every table in the Spitfire bar and restaurant was filled with great games. Settlers of Catan was the big geek favorite, as usual, but there were also some great games of Cards Versus Humanity, Exploding Kittens and even Bridge, featuring lessons from Sallie Cook, the mom of GeekWire co-founder John Cook. Attendees also got to take home complimentary geeky books as we emptied out GeekWire’s office library for the occasion.
Don’t forget to join us for our next event, the GeekWire Gala on Dec. 2, and in the meantime, enjoy this gallery of photos from GeekWire Game Night.
