GW calendar logoSeattle’s growing pains have been the subject of conversation (and consternation) for a while, with far more concerns than solutions floating around. The Washington Technology Industry Association’s answer to that imbalance is FullConTech — a convention bringing together public officials, tech leaders, academics, and community organizers to address the impact of the tech boom.MINIMIZED-Bracket-8.7-crop

“The rapid growth in our city, region, and state is changing the business environment and putting tremendous pressure on our infrastructure,” says WTIA. “There is simply no way that industry can tackle these challenges alone.”

The conference will include a kick-off talk from legendary former basketball player and coach Lenny Wilkens on Sept. 15, followed by cross-sector panel discussions on a variety of issues for the state of Washington.

Tickets for FullConTech are on sale for $350 here.
