GW calendar logoSusannah Malarkey made headlines Wednesday when she announced her exit from the Technology Alliance after 20 years serving as the organization’s executive director.

“Since I have been the only executive director, we really do want to take a step back and think about what the Tech Alliance should look like for the next 20 years and what kind of leader that would require,” said Malarkey. “I am excited to do this process. It is pretty cool.”

The news comes just a week ahead of the Technology Alliance’s Annual Luncheon, timing Malarkey describes as “aligning perfectly.”

tech allianceBefore her departure Malarkey helped secure Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella for the 2016 luncheon and Concur CEO Steve Singh as the keynote for this year’s event, which will take place June 5.

Over 800 industry experts and thought leaders are expected to attend the luncheon. Registration and Networking kick off at 11:30 a.m. at the Westin Seattle. Tickets are on sale for $85 here.
