20th Century Fox has released the new trailer for Marvel’s Fantastic Four, and while somewhat entertaining, some fans are a bit disappointed that it’s not giving us more about the young superheroes.

According to io9, “It seems like it’s trying to completely hide the fact it’s a superhero movie, revealing practically nothing about the heroes, their powers, or the evil blogger they’ll be facing.”

Despite this, it’s a pretty cool look at what the picture could possibly be — you know interstellar wars, destruction of Earth and all that jazz. If nothing else, the casting makes it interesting, especially with Kate Mara as the Invisible Woman and Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch.

Here’s 20th Century Fox’s official description, in which they call it “a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.”

The movie is out Aug. 7. Here’s the trailer:
