Comcast NBCDid this page not load fast enough for you? Well, just wait until the end of this month.

Comcast announced this week that it’s increasing the speeds in some of its most popular bundles in many states for no extra charge. The Performance Pro tier pumps up speeds from 50 Mbps to 75 Mbps, while Blast Pro ups browsing from 105 Mbps to 150 Mbps.

The free speed upgrades are available today in Washington and Houston, and are coming later this month to Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Wisconsin.

Users just need to restart their modems to see the speed increase. Comcast will contact users whose modems aren’t able to achieve the new speeds.

The new Comcast speeds are still well under the gigabit fiber speeds offered by Wave and CenturyLink. And the fastest upgrade only matches speeds brought to Washington’s Frontier Communications customers back in April.
