Want to get your hands on some of the newest table games developed by some of the greatest designers in the business?

Welcome to the Titan Series, a group of “gateway” tabletop games that will bring even your most gaming-jaded friends to the table.

Launched by Redmond-based Calliope Games via Kickstarter, the Titan Series brings together the designers behind games like Magic: The GatheringShadowrun and HeroClix to create a new series of entry-level games that are meant for everyone to enjoy. By supporting the Kickstarter, you will also be able to vote on the development process, including “game themes, artwork, titles and content.”

Calliope plans to release at least nine games over the next three years, at least three new games per year. While they plan to retail the games around $30, if you back them on Kickstarter now, you can secure one game for $25, or buy all nine for a pledge of $145 ($16 each).

So far, they have over 1,000 backers and have surpassed their initial goal of $135,000 by just a $1,000. There are still nine days left to the campaign.

“The Titans are already hard at work crafting these tabletop experiences,” Calliope writes on Kickstarter. “Our goal is to offer games that fall within different categories: a party game, a word game, a worker placement game, a light strategy game, a dice game, a game of luck, a card game, and more.”

Sounds like a fun way to get your hands on some new games. Watch Calliope’s Kickstarter campaign video below:
