Today in hilarious and totally unnecessary technology is the Bud-E Fridge — a smart fridge connected to WiFi that shows you how much brew you have left.

The Bud-E Fridge was tweeted by none-other than T-Mobile’s John Legere, who had one more upgrade suggestion that could take that smart fridge from awesome to awesomest:

Legere found the article on Digital Trends, which really gets to the heart of the whole fridge joining the Internet of Things world. They wrote an extensive review of the fridge, which is really worth a read.

Digital Trends reported that it worked “flawlessly” with cans, but was a bit mixed with different sized bottles. Bud Light recommends stocking it with 12-ounce sized bottles and cans for best results.

You can also use it to track your favorite team, remind you to restock and bust people who steal beers from you.

“It will also make celebration noises when your team scores a touchdown,” Digital Trends reports.

Regularly priced at $599, it’s currently priced at $299.

Will you be ordering one, Legere? Let us know!
