Boeing has posted a dress rehearsal, so to speak, of its 787 Dreamliner doing some jumbo jet tricks in advance of the big Paris Air Show next week.

In the video above, the monster jet pulls off a sharp vertical takeoff and does some nerve-wracking maneuvers before coming to a safe landing.

Of course, this is a major display for Boeing, part of a comeback for the Dreamliner after the 2013 grounding of the 787s due to concerns about their lithium ion batteries catching fire.

Features of the spacious jet include more room in the overhead bins for your “full-sized roll-aboard bag,” (ha, take that IATA), sexy LED mood lighting, bigger windows and a smoother ride, according to Boeing.

Certain people still aren’t impressed.
