Fresh off an $18.4 million venture capital round, Bellevue-based Atigeo today announced the acquisition of YaData Solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We saw instant synergy with YaData as we have a shared vision and common methodology to big data analytics,” said Atigeo CEO Michael Sandoval in a release. “Atigeo’s xPatterns platform uses data science and a bottoms-up approach and when coupled with YaData’s top-down customer facing cyber technology, it’s an amazing combination that further empowers customers to easily extract practical and useable insights from data.”
Atigeo — founded 10 years ago by Sandoval, a former Microsoft general manager — announced $18.4 million in venture funding last month. The company employs 100 people.
YaData’s customers include the Departments of the Air Force, Army, Navy and the United States Marine Corps.
