The cable giants were dealt another blow today when Apple announced its partnership with HBO Now, a streaming service for $14.99 per month.

Perhaps it’s a fine time to take a look at this Onion infographic, highlighting the “new initiatives” the cable companies are using to keep customers, including “for added convenience, four-hour installation windows will be reduced to 16 separate 15-minute windows” and “reducing average price of service to more reasonable $330.39 per month.”

In light of HBO Now — along with all the other awesome streaming options from Netflix, Amazon and more — will 2015 be the year you cut the cord?
