The holiday is coming early if you’re a Star Wars fan. All the fan parodies, trailer teasers, gadgets and gear has led to this — the actual freaking thing is coming out this week.

If you’re a Star Wars supergeek, here are the details on Cinerama’s Star Wars Marathon Event, of course, if you were lucky enough to score tickets to the now sold-out event.

The marathon event, or the “ultimate fan experience,” is all seven movies in one sitting. It starts at 1 a.m. on Dec. 17 with the schedule below, courtesy of Cinerama’s site:

1:00 AM | Episode I: The Phantom Menace

4:00 AM | Episode II: Attack of the Clones

7:00 AM | Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

*30-45 minute break between movies; 2D theatrical releases*

1 hour 15 minute intermission

10:45 AM | Episode IV: A New Hope

1:30 PM | Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

4:15 PM | Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

**30-40 minute break between movies; 2D digitally remastered releases**

1 hour 30 minute intermission

8:00 PM | Episode VII: The Force Awakens

***3D and Dolby Atmos

Of course, Cinerama has mercifully built in some decent breaks. Here’s some fun trivia, if you decide to just power-watch the entire two trilogies in one sitting, no breaks, courtesy of Yahoo Answers — it would take you “797 minutes, or 13 hours 17 minutes plus 5 extra minutes in the special editions.”

If you are only seeing the sold-out Star Wars premiere Thursday night, Cinerama’s doors open to ticket holders at 11:15 p.m. The theater will then show Star Wars: The Force Awakens at midnight.

Cinerama is greeting ticket holders in style: 40 members of the 501st Legion will greet fans for the midnight showing. Get there early and get your picture with Stormtroopers, R2-D2 and other major characters from the original trilogy.

Unfortunately, all opening day tickets at Cinerama are sold out. In fact, Star Wars showings at Cinerama continue to be sold out until Christmas Day at 11 p.m. with three seats left as of this writing.

A quick search through Craigslist shows that it’s slim pickings out there for tickets and showings. But, if the Force is with you, you might be able to score a deal to a theater near you.

We’ll continue to update Star Wars news as we get more details on showings, times, etc.

Update: According to Fandango, several Seattle-area theaters are showing The Force Awakens starting around 7 p.m. on Thursday night. While some theaters don’t do online ticketing, like Sundance in the University District and Majestic Bay in Ballard, the flick is scheduled for those nights at those theaters.

Many other early ticketing times are already sold out. But it looks like there are some evening times still available if you’d like to check it out.

BTW, is anyone planning to go to work on Friday?
