xbox75Still haven’t upgraded your Xbox 360? Microsoft wants to pay you to do so.

A NeoGAF user spotted a new Microsoft promotion that offers up a $75 promo code for some Xbox 360 owners that purchase an Xbox One. The deal looks to be non-transferrable and lasts until July 31, while the $75 is sent as a Xbox promotional gift code that can be used at Xbox or Microsoft online stores. It’s unclear who exactly is receiving the offer, but some gamers saw the deal after logging into their Xbox 360 consoles on Monday.

xboxonenokinectMicrosoft actually ran a similar promotion back in January, when it offered up to $100 toward an Xbox One purchase for people who traded in a Playstation 3, Xbox 360 E or Xbox 360 S.

But that was when the Xbox One was priced at $499 — last month, Microsoft began selling a $399 Xbox One that comes without the Kinect sensor, its trademark accessory that enables you to do motion and voice controls.

Sony priced its Playstation 4 at $399 since launch last November and is outpacing the Xbox One in terms of total sales. Sony sold more than 7 million PS4′s in the past six months and has held a lead in U.S. sales over Microsoft’s Xbox One for the past five months.

Microsoft also today began offering its hit game Titanfall at 33 percent off for Xbox Live Gold and Silver members.
