People who received a new Xbox One or PS4 for Christmas and hoped to play online are likely having problems today.
Both Xbox Live and Playstation Network have been experiencing outages throughout Thursday. A hacking group called Lizard Squad is taking credit for the denial of service attacks and is constantly posting tweets about the problems, asking users for retweets in exchange for stopping the hacks. Earlier this month, Lizard Squad had previously warned that it would hit both networks on Christmas.
