Hey, if this software thing doesn’t work out, Microsoft’s OneNote team might just have a future on stage.

Marking the release of OneNote for Mac, the Microsoft group behind the note-taking product put together this funny parody of “One Day More” from Les Miserables that reveals some great pipes among certain members of the team.

Although the video (above) features some obvious lip-syncing, we’re told that the soundtrack behind it all was actually performed entirely by members of the team. No professional singers were hired.

The lyrics were originally rewritten by Nicole Steinbok, a OneNote program manager, but the project was a collaborative effort involving people from across the team, including people in program management, development and test.

Highly corny and very impressive. Can any other tech companies top that?
