thieves-mac22Redmond police are on the hunt for four thieves who broke into the The Mac Store at Redmond Town Center on Sunday morning, ripping 16 computers from the shelves in 30 seconds. Q13 reports that the crime occurred at 7:13 a.m. Sunday, with the criminals taking 16 MacBook Pro laptops valued at about $25,000.

Interestingly, the store was the scene of a similar crime back in April. In this case, the thieves got into the store while the doors remained locked.

It’s also not lost on us that the thieves stole Apple products in what amounts to the backyard of Microsoft, since Redmond Town Center is located just a few miles from the software giant’s main campus.

Redmond police released this video showing the heist in hopes of capturing the criminals. Tips can be reported to the Redmond Police Department by calling 425-556-2500.
