This just in: Satya Nadella does a pretty good walk-and-talk.
The new Microsoft CEO, named to the position by the Microsoft board this morning, introduces himself and talks about why he took the position in this strolling interview, released by the company this morning.
“When I think about the core of why I’m here, it’s about impact,” he says. “In a software-powered world, what’s a better place than Microsoft in terms of being able to take all of this human potential that we have … and apply it to a world that’s rapidly becoming more software-driven. That opportunity is what fundamentally and got me to raise my hand for this job.”
He says he wants to focus the company’s innovation on things “that Microsoft can uniquely do.”
