Being a lame duck certainly has some advantages. If nothing else, it allows the president more time to do stuff like this.
Barack Obama took over the anchor desk on The Colbert Report, cracking jokes like, “How hard can this be?” and calling himself “arrogant” as he reads the teleprompter meant for Colbert.
“Emperor” Obama’s visit to The Colbert Report did address several serious issues left to be addressed during his tenure. In an interview with Colbert, Obama discussed the Keystone Pipeline, immigration and the economy.
All told, Colbert is going out with a bang. There’s only two weeks until he takes over for David Letterman on The Late Show.
