Sprint has rolled out faster data speeds in 17 markets, including Seattle, Cleveland, Denver and Sacramento. The service, which it has dubbed “Sprint Spark” offers LTE wireless speeds of 6 to 15Mbps, with peaks of 50 to 60Mbps. It is live in 46 U.S. markets, with the goal of covering 100 million people by year-end. Sprint offers a number of Spark-enabled devices, including the iPhone, Google’s Nexus 6, the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8), and is currently running a number of low-cost data plans in an effort to remain competitive against the other major carriers.
